How to play

  1. Dig and read the numbers

    Tap a square to dig it up. A number tells you how many of the eight squares around it hide a mole.

  2. Flag the moles

    Press and hold a square, or switch on the flag button, to plant a carrot flag where a mole hides. Tap a number whose flags add up to dig all the squares around it at once.

  3. Don't dig up a mole

    Digging up a mole costs a carrot and shows the mole. Lose all three and the round ends, but you can switch the limit off in Settings.

  4. Hints

    Each patch has three hints. A hint digs a safe square, or flags a mole when it is certain where one is.

  5. No guessing needed

    Every patch can be solved by logic alone, and you always start with an open area to get going.
